Firstly THANKS JUNYING!!!! for helping me revamp my blogskin=)=)=) it reallie needed a change. not that i blog very often..in fact the last post was......1 month 3 weeks ago. hahah.. anyway..today was my last day at imcb..hahah..damn fast ride. it's been almost 3 months there. what can i say. ive learnt a hell lot frm this internship..things which i was never exposed to in jc for eg. western blot..immunofluorescence..pcr.. ok. u guys must be wondering what the hell am i talking abt. I basically help my supervisor carry out these experimental techniques which allow lots of free time for me to slack in between. ha. so much so that today the other interns and i resorted to freezing eggs in liquid nitrogen which has a freezing point of -169 degrees. the egg hardened like nobody's business. and the egg white looks like some translucent rock-hard solid. damn nice. on one hand im glad that this attachment prog is over cos the stuff that im doing started to get quite monotonous..on the other hand..i miss the fun and laughter and the suan-ing as well as the small random talks the interns had=( work there will never be as enjoyable without them man altho there was once where we made this german assistant prof explode due to noise pollution in the lab 0_0. he was damn scary la!!! he POPPED out of no where and gave a power nudge on one of the intern's arm and shouted at him to shut up. quite traumatising. 0_0 0_0 0_0 0_0 and if u fellow interns of imcb lab 05-15/16 are reading this..thanks jiaying! for being the understanding one=) and yr laughter is seriously contagious. hahaha..oh yar. feel free to skin jeremy and ciptoh whenever u feel like it. thanks priya! for saving me frm screw ups in some of my experiments..hahah..and for just being who u are. feel free to skin jeremy if he decides to pang-seh u and leave way earlier than u during work. thanks ian!! for going crazy with me..good luck in disecting yr mice intestines. hope yr sense of smell is still intact after yr attachment. feel free to skin jeremy and ciptoh too when they become retarded. esp. ciptoh as for jeremy and ciptoh..thanks for bringing live and laughter to the lab=) altho u guys are always the centre of jokes, look on the bright side man! u guys bring joy to the lab. ha. anyway..congrats avalene!!! for getting the scholarship to melbourne=)=)=) damn damn happy for u la!!!! now u dun have to worry abt the disgusting expenses in australia. it's frustrating when ppl dun get the full picture. |
